Conventionally when we need to remove hexavalent chromium out of solution we first need to reduce it from hexavalent to trivalent form.
Conventionally to treat hexavalent chromium we need to reduce it from hexavalent to trivalent form, this is in order to precipitate it as a hydroxide. Cr(OH)3 has a solubility product constant of 6.3 x 10-31 making it feasible to precipitate out of solution. Hexavalent chromium cannot be precipitated out of solution, is simply too soluble so it likes to remain in solution.

Our proven technology is successful treating BOD, TSS, Oil and Grease, heavy metals and other elements such as phosphorus and nitrogen.
